This is my letter I wrote to TV week 2003 about Ma.

I am one of nine children in care.
My family of 8 kids and another teenager.
My family was split up for one and a half years and now we are a family again and all us kids are with one Foster Mum.
Her name is Neroli Endacott but we call her Ma.
Ma gives us kids magical memories, keeps us safe, calms our fears and loves us all unconditionally.
I feel pretty special living with her because I'm happy again.
I have a lovely Foster Mum and I'm back with my brothers and sisters.

I wrote some poems that shows my love towards Ma (Neroli).

Name of Neroli,
Each of us she gives so much,
Roses for the love she has for us kids,
Or lots of hugs to make us feel good,
Love is true from this beautiful Lady,
In our lives.

You are our Mother, lovely and kind,
You are mine to keep forever,
Mother I love you,
Sweet with love
we fly like a dove,
So high in the sky,
and we become one.

Ma is a wonderful Mother,
Who has taught us we are all beautiful children,
All living happily together.

Ma showed us love and respect
Gave us pride and explained what to expect,
Ma gave me love in myself to face the troubled times,
Now my soul is filled with good spirit I am no longer blind,
Ma has shown us beauty in our lives,
All us children have been taught to face the unbelievable things in their lives with faith in their heart and hope in their minds, and now we are alive!

Ma thinks my poems are so beautiful that she had happy tears in her eyes run down her face.
Well Neroli - Ma is keeping us safe and happy and loves us all and it makes us feel good.
I'm 13 years old.

Thank you for listening to my story about our special Mum - Our Hero!

I wrote that when I was 13 and now I am 15.
In September 2002 all us kids went back to our parents after a few years with Ma.
Ma helped us learn lots of things to help us return home to our parents.
Ma still is there for us and gives our parents and us kids support and love.
I am staying with Ma for a little bit now as i am a bit confused and she had all of us kids back this weekend for her grand daughters 3rd birthday.
Ma is now looking after other kids, a beautiful baby who I love and her three sisters.

There is 11 of us here (My bigger sister is staying on the Sunshine Coast)
We all had a lovely time with Ma and her grown up kids who always show us we are part of their family.
My brothers and sisters will go back today but I will stay on for a while.

Ma is our Hero and Our Friend.
We all love her and she loves us.

I wrote many poems for Ma and about our lives and she loved them all.
I would send her poems by email from school to tell her I loved her or when I had attitudes to say I'm sorry.
